As a father, Jimmy understands the impact a clean, safe, and enjoyable learning environment can have on a child’s development. He will always vote to fully fund the schools and will support school infrastructure improvements.

Our teachers are the most crucial resource in creating an environment to connect and help our students master academic subjects. As Supervisor, he will support higher wages and collective bargaining for our public school employees, and supports incentives to improve retention and hiring practices. With great teachers and staff, we can ensure that every student has access to a world-class FCPS education that fosters their knowledge growth and empowers them to be the best versions of themselves. 

Jimmy also understands the value of starting early. Following in the footsteps of Supervisor John Foust, who fought for and helped implement full-day Kindergarten, Jimmy will work to expand access to Pre-K across the county.
